Bringing Learning to Life

Our School

Each class has two Young Governors to represent them.
To decide who it should be, pupils say whether they want to be a candidate, prepare a speech about why they would make a good representative and then an election process takes place ....obviously the child with the most votes wins. They represent their class at meetings held half-termly. During these meetings they discuss issues their classmates have brought to their attention, ways they could improve things at school and give positive feedback about the good things that have happened at school. Action is taken, talked about and so on. Minutes are typed up and the Young governors give feedback to their class as soon as they have these.
