Bringing Learning to Life

Our School

As a parent or carer of a child who attends Bordon Junior School you automatically become a member of the Friends of Bordon Schools (FoBS). They are a volunteer organisation that support both Bordon Junior and Infant Schools through fund-raising events.

How much involvement you have with FoBS is up to you.

Can you help with events during or after school?

Are you able to attend meetings where ideas are shared about how to raise money through fund-raising events as well as deciding where the money would be best spent?

If you are not able to attend meetings but have fantastic ideas that  you are eager to share, ask to see a FoBS member and they will take the idea on your behalf.

Meetings generally take place once a half term and are hosted alternately by the Infant and Junior Schools.

Main events include a Family Fun Day and Christmas Fayre, as well as cake sales, discos, egg hunts and bingo nights.

As a birthday gift, each child is given a book from FoBS, which is theirs to keep.  They also fund Christmas dinner for every child and this year have provided  every child with their own pair of headphones.
